Need to provide Centrelink with proof you're temporarily unable to work or attend appointments? Get a certificate issued by an AHPRA-registered Australian doctor — fully accepted by Centrelink, delivered to your inbox within minutes.
When you're unwell and need to notify Centrelink — whether to pause mutual obligation requirements, reschedule an appointment, or explain a missed activity — getting a same-day GP appointment can be hard. Our telehealth doctors can issue you a valid medical certificate within minutes, that meets the Department of Social Services' requirements for short-term incapacity evidence.
Once your certificate is approved, you'll receive a PDF by email. Upload it through your myGov inbox, the Express Plus Centrelink app, or hand it in at a service centre. Keep the original — Centrelink may request to view the digital signature for verification.
Your name and date of birth, the dates you're certified unfit, the doctor's full name, AHPRA registration number, signature, and the date the certificate was issued. This is everything Centrelink requires to accept a short-term medical certificate.
Yes. Centrelink accepts medical certificates issued by any AHPRA-registered Australian doctor, whether the consultation is in person or via telehealth. Our certificates include the doctor's name, AHPRA registration number and digital signature.
Our standard certificate covers short-term incapacity for work or study. For longer-term Centrelink medical evidence (such as the SU415 Medical Certificate form for JobSeeker), please book a longer telehealth consultation — let us know in your request.
Single-day certificates cover 1 calendar day. Multi-day certificates cover up to 2 days. Backdating of 1 day is available at the doctor's discretion.
$19.90 for a single-day certificate or $29.90 for a multi-day (up to 2 days) certificate. You're only charged if a doctor approves your request.
